WHY WE GIVE: So often we chose to avoid this topic, but it is one that cannot be ignored. When Jesus teaches we must listen and obey. We see Jesus teaching about money nearly a quarter of the time the He taught. If we were speaking honestly, money itself is a morally neutral topic, but what we chose to do with that money shows us where our hearts truly lie.  Like all gifts, money is entrusted to us by the Lord. We have a sacred stewardship form the Lord Himself. Jesus gave all He had for us. In return, it should be our joy to give back to Him however, and whenever, we are able.

 

At FBC Lowell, we encourage all our member and regular attenders to follow the Biblical model of giving with cheerful hearts (2 Corinthians 9:7) and sacrificially (Psalms 4:5). If we will give our “first-fruits” back to His church, God will live and move through the gift and giver and do more than we could think or ever imagine on our own. Giving is an expression of worship, from a redeemed and joyful heart, given in response to all that God has done in and through us.

In Person

If you desire to give in person during a Sunday morning worship service we have a designated time for tithes and offerings during our service. To learn more about our worship service please contact our office today at (479)-770-0151. If you miss a service or would prefer to give in-person throughout the week, our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our office is located at 405 Johnson Avenue, Lowell, AR 72745.
